Sometimes, something beautiful happens when two forces join together...                       

...though it's probably some ugly-assed duckling instead.

As some of you may know, our friends over at Build Environment TV run a YouTube channel where they play video games and drink copious amounts of alcohol. Previously we ran a spin off series called "Let's Drink to Gaming: Tabletop" where we played board games and... you guessed it, drank copious amounts of alcohol.

After an extended hiatus the show is back and continues to be hosted by BETV and run by Trent Mercy. You can expect to see regular appearances from myself as well as guests and occasionally the Nefarious Nine.

So what's different this season? 
For starters we've completely changed locations. Previously we were recording out of our home in New Hampshire. Since the end of last season we've moved out to the Seattle area and will be recording sessions at our favorite local game store, Around the Table Gamer Pub. Feel free to drop by and say 'hello'. You'll also see the occasional appearance from the store owners Nick & Tim.

Second, you can expect to see lots of new people on the show, as we had the leave the old Build Environment crew behind on the east coast. Something about not putting enough air holes in the boxes...

Lastly, you can expect to see a slew of new games as the collection continues to inexorably grow larger. We've also refocused the theme of the show to concentrate mainly on two player games and variants although we also have plans to cover a lot of great [non shouting] party games as well. (And well, we did promise you GoT the board game last season.)

So what hasn't changed?
Well Trent and I are still here, he's still drinking most of the alcohol and we're still [almost] funny. The production budget hasn't really gotten any better though we are working in some new equipment soon so you can expect to see double the action! Triple the explosions! Quadruple the ferrets! Or something.
